Sometimes you just have to: Go and follow God!
It can be a test on our soul (mind, will and emotions) when we are waiting on direction from God I’ve noticed the more I practice sitting still and listening to my heart that hearing from God becomes natural.
God doesn’t just move in big supernatural happenings. His movements can be a simple command—Go!
Last week my friend called me and asked if I was heading to a prayer conference in France. I said no but I had a small inkling inside to look at flights. Before I knew it I had booked a ticket to France! It just happened. There wasn’t any invite from man instead it was an invite from the HolySpirit.
Sometimes you just take one step. It’s so easy to put God in a box and say, this is how it should be done…step by step. But you see God is way bigger than man’s formulas.
He wants us to step out and go where He leads us.
As I obeyed the Lord, He opened a way to minister to the young adults. I didn’t ask to minister—that wasn’t my motive. I just wanted to obey God and be where He asked me to be.
The first time I went to Africa, all I knew in my heart was to go. There was no plan B, just complete trust in my heavenly Father. My first trip Mama Heidi Baker asked me to minister at the bush. I didn’t know this was going to happen. I just wanted to obey God on His Word. I just recently got an invite to come back to minister again in Mozambique this summer.
God is Calling You to Step out of Your Comfort Zones
Wait on Jesus and follow His commands. He will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 KJV). Step out of your boat and GO follow Jesus.
“And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages.”
First time speaking @ the bush in Mozambique. Heading back this summer to minister. Will keep you posted.
