Entitled

Being in another nation for a long period of time exposes you naturally and spiritually. You find out more about yourself than ever before. While in Africa,I prayed for the Lord to open my eyes to things that needed to change in me.He exposed my heart in ways that I hadn't seen before. One of the things the sweet Holy Spirit revealed to me was ENTITLEMENT.

The definition for entitlement is the belief that one is inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment. Even though I have been raised in a family that is known in ministry; it doesn’t make me entitled to my position. When I am given an opportunity to do anything in ministry it's because of God’s grace.We are REQUIRED to have the attitude of Jesus.

Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name.

Jesus left everything that was entitled to Him in Heaven and came to earth. We are called to live a life like Him.

You see the gifts and people God has placed in your life are because of His grace.

I pray that God shifts your heart in a way to His love and grace. That your eyes will be opened to see the mercies of God and your ears open to hear His voice.
